Through screenings and related programming, to provide public access to films which have made significant contributions to the history and/or current practice of cinema locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

To fulfill an educational role Canada through: |

maintenance of an up-to-date library for members and researchers
|

b. |
provision of educational programming, workshops and national film tours
|
|
d. |
provision of information on programming through brochures and publications
|

To promote and encourage Canadian and Tamil film makers run annual International Short Film Festival in Toronto.
|
| 4. |
To coordinate and co-programme with other arts, multicultural and special interest groups in Canada towards betterment of the society in general.

| 5. |
To honour people who render exemplary service to the society through cinematography. |
